For professionals:

Lectures, trainings, workshops and seminars are offered to various professional groups on a variety of sexuality related topics. Professional groups who have taken trainings or seminars have included students (psychology, social work, and medical), physicians and other medical personnel, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and counselors, child protection workers, police officers, and lawyers. Topics have included:

New! Reclaiming Sex Workshop for Professional Audiences.
Sexual unhappiness, incompatibility and disinterest are common complaints that many therapists encounter in their work with individuals and couples. The Reclaiming Sex Workshop is designed to give therapists the tools to evaluate and treat sexual disinterest and dissatisfaction in the context of the ongoing therapy. For the public

From men’s groups, to adolescents, to adult businesswomen and seniors, sex is a topic of concern. I have spoken on a variety of issues to diverse groups. Some popular topics have included:

  • What do women really want?
  • Sexual behavior in children – what is normal?
  • Sex education for the adolescent who knows everything.
  • Sex for cardiac patients and their partners.
  • Beyond Viagra, what is sex therapy anyway?

In addition to informative talks, a workshop format is also offered. Workshops are more interactive and encourage the active participation of the members of the audience as they explore and gain a new understanding of their own sexual concerns.

New! Reclaiming Sex Workshop for Women.
Reclaiming Sex is a fun and interactive workshop for women who feel that they have lost their zest for sex. This workshop will help women evaluate their sexual desire (or lack of it) in the context of their unique life situation. Women will come away with an appreciation of what desire is and isn’t, of how to detect problems and prevent or resolve them.  Most importantly, each participant will learn how to appreciate and enjoy her own sexuality through all stages of her life. Women who attend this workshop will truly reclaim sex as something they want to have in their life, not something they do for someone else.
